Star City launches into birthday celebrations with a bang!
Fireworks rained over the Star City Entertainment Complex to start a massive ten day 10th birthday celebration. It was a perfect night outside with family's gathering to watch the fireworks as they exploded from the roof of the Star City Apartments, but the real heat was going on inside.
Starting from today, the Sydney Star City casino will be showcasing Austrlia's best artists each night of their 10 days celebration. The concert kicked off with Eskimo Joe and will be followed by Guy Sebastian, Diesel, Gina Jeffreys, The Black Sorrows, Christine Anu, Jenny Morris, Human Nature, Ian Moss and Daryl Braithwaite.

Day 1 - Eskimo Joe
A little after 8pm on the 1st day of the Star City Sydney 10th Birthday Celebrations, the guys from Eskimo Joe made their way on stage and had the crowd on their feet. Within a stream of coloured back lights their rockin tunes blew the roof off the casino as Star City turned 10. Eskimo Joe played a great set and no one was disappointed. Day 2 - Guy Sebastian

The first Australian Idol, Guy Sebastian, returned to Australian shores after spending months overseas recording his 3rd album was greeted with a packed casino floor much more interested in his performance than the usual casino activities. The screams from the crowd was deafening and it increased a few more decibel as Guy walked onto the stage. Guy treated his loyal fans with a few songs from his 3rd and unreleased album, while keeping everyone happy by playing his top 40 hit songs. overexposed have tons of photos of the event, click through to view the gallery now.

Day 5 - The Black Sorrows
A relative large crowd packed into the Black Sorrows concert at the Star City 10th Birthday Celebration. The crowd are expecting to be hearing all the hits that the Black Sorrows have made famous, and the Black Sorrows did not disappoint. Harley and Rose was played to open proceedings, and after that, the Black Sorrows play song after song of great tunes and great memories.
