Shannon Noll, the runner up of the original Australian Idol, played to a packed crowd at the Big Top in Sydney's Luna Park. Shannon is embarking on his Australian Lift 2006 tour to promote his latest album. The crowd contain a good mix of young and old, rock and punk fans, and Australian Idol and just pure music lovers. This eclectic crwod was encouraged by Shannon Noll's support act of Lee Harding and Dan England (3rd and 4th place of the last season of Austrlian Idol).

Dan England was soulful as ever while Lee Harding played out his good nature punk anthems with his No 1 Hit, Wasabi. They both hyped up the crowd for the appearance of Shannon Noll.
Shannon sang the singles and other songs from his current album Lift. No Shannon Noll concert is complete without a rendition of his no 1 song, What About Me to the crowd's backing vocals.
